Happy First Blogversary

Yesterday was my blog's 1st anniversary. Yay! I'd been a blogger for a year (and one day) now! I've never really thought that I would make it this far. Initially when I started my blog I gave it a life of 2 months. I get sick of things easily, I get easily tired of something and I thought...this will not last. But hey! It's the twelfth of October and I'm still blogging.

So I guess since it's my anniversary it's time to reminisce.

I started October 11th of last year with a post about buying a new toothbrush. If you se the picture on the post the color of the toothbrush is violet and it's so happen that my toothbrush now is of the same color and brand. And now I'm wondering if it's the same toothbrush I'm using now...oOo...it's been a year and am I using the same toothbrush? oOo...

The idea! Oh Don't you guys think it's the same toothbrush 'coz it's not. That's disgusting!

On the same month I've written a Dear Body post saying that even though my hair is thick and ugly I like it....whoa! Stop right there! I wrote that? Well...that was a year ago! To be honest I hate my hair and goodness why was I not blessed with nice hair?

I've also posted a really short story which was entitled Cool#9 and at the end of the post I wrote that I am going to write a prequel soon. Guess what?

I haven't written it.

I've also written I was forgetful. Whoa! I completely forgot I was forgetful a year ago I thought my forgetfulness just started this April.

And...

I always say I never like to read, I'm not sure why. It's probably a love hate relationship that I cannot get over with. I love reading and I hate it. I love it when a book is exciting and I hated it when a book is boring.

My relationship with books had changed since then...

I'm no more Webbie the book collector, the bibliophile, the down w/ love for her books...I've changed. I've realized that I'm never gonna keep my books forever. They'll wear out, be eaten by book bugs or destroyed by rain...or I may die or something. A friend told me, when I informed him I'm selling my books, that I'm lying. He knows my books are everything, it is my life, it is what keeps me alive. And he's wondering why I'm selling them and concluded that I'm getting poor. Maybe. Ah, I hate it when I get messages from him in friendster about my books because my conscience is eating me. Made me think what am I doing? Why the heck am I selling the things that gave me happiness. But that's how the world goes, it's ephemeral. No, my love for my books is not ephemeral...it's always there but hey...if you love something (or someone) you should always be ready to let it go.--I SOUND LIKE AN INSANE PERSON, DON'T MIND ME--

I also stumbled upon my ADS scandal...I do not want to talk about it! Argh!

I can't believe I had a couple of to-read list post...I've never really finished any of those list. Ha! Some things never really changed like...me being lazy...hihihihi.

Anyway, as of this time I know I've not been paying attention to my blog but hopefully, to keep it up, I'll try to write as much post as I can every month...so you guys just have to put up with me if I kept talking about nintendo ds and such which you might find boring. I also want to get back to my old honest self. If you've been reading this blog for a while you'll know what I'm talking about 'coz I'm all so personal and I love talking about my personal life since y'all don't even know my real name or where I live or whatever...I can rant, rant, rant...wahahahahahahaha..

I also want to stress one of my blog's problem w/c is the bloody pop-up that kept appearing whenever you open my blog. I've no idea where it came from. I already checked my template and was not able to see any pop-up code there. I don't think it's google adsense that's creating the pop-up. In short, I'm clueless. So if any of you guys wants to help me out in cleaning this template of the pop-up ad I'll be more than glad and I'll thank you forever.

I do not want to change template, that takes forever.

And finally I'd like to thank each and everyone of you who comes to my blog and read it. Thanks to my blog friends also who keeps coming back and keeps giving their comments and advice.
